Why Cocktails at 7?

Well, that's what I'm thinking of calling my ebook. I'm still writing it (ok, I've only written two pages so far), and I'd like to make it available for free on this blog. It'll be about relationships--and hopefully, it'll be good.

This blog will deal mostly with relationship and self-improvement issues for women.

But still, why Cocktails at 7? To be honest, the name just popped into my mind. It seemed like the kind of thing independent, single women might do, and it's a bit reminiscent of Sex and the City. Of course, it's not entirely practical for women to constantly be leaving office in time for "Cocktails at 7", but seemed like a fun idea.

Later, I remember that the number 7 is a favorite for most women: I know i'ts my favorite number! In fact, the Pick Up Artists in the book "The Game" by Neil Strauss sometimes used this fact to manipulate women.

And finally, after I'd changed the template of my blog innumerable times, painstakingly learning how to add my own picture, and then abandoned the idea in favor of a serendipticiously found template on another website (credits are mentioned in the template), I remembered something else.

Once, after 10th grade was over, my friends and I were hanging out at a former teacher's house. Our hostess had kindly invited us to lunch, and after it was over, we were left alone in the sitting room. A game of charade began, and the quality of movie names chosen began to quickly spiral downwards. Pretty soon, a very cute guy was acting out the word "cocktail". It was quite amusing :)
